About the speaker

A results driven leader, Ian has worked up through a twenty year career from a buyer in the motor industry, to supply chain director at Probrand – a hassle-free digital marketplace for procurement of IT products, services, and solutions.

Ian, A MCIPS member, joined Probrand in 2003. With over fifteen years in the IT channel he now leads a team of fifteen staff across the Supply Chain and Logistics function and has mastered his skills in; strategic procurement, digital transformation, eCommerce, supplier risk assessment, contract management and has a drive to achieve optimum value through effective negotiation.

With his extensive procurement knowledge, Ian achieved a corporate CIPS award in 2016 and 2019 for Probrand’s Digital Marketplace. Within this Marketplace he manages procurement for over 300,000 products and services.
