Technology services provider, Probrand, has been recognised for its outstanding education credentials with a place on the £550m Education Technology Framework, Lot 1 ICT Solutions, Lot 4 ICT Hardware and Lot 5 Audio-Visual.
The framework goes live on 9 July and sees Probrand continue its work to deliver market leading end-to-end IT solutions and projects across the education space in what has been described as a "complete fit-out" for new and existing education establishments.
Probrand delivers education specific IT, at the right price, in one place. The business connects the education community with exclusive education discounts directly from distributors and vendors in its unique marketplace environment, and couples this with a specialist education team with experience in hardware provision, install and migration away from proprietary providers.
The new framework replaces the expired ICT Services for Education framework and is split into five Lots, covering hardware, software, services and solutions for schools, trusts and training centres.
Steve Buet, Probrand education specialist, said: “We recognise that both technology and education are moving fast, with more than 250 new free schools launching and multi-academy trusts continuing to grow.
"As a trusted advisor to all tiers of education, this latest framework gives us the opportunity to build upon our heritage of delivering relevant solutions, delivered by our own technical engineers, that facilitate learning objectives.
“We are known for delivering on time and on budget, and our unique marketplace proposition has a significant edu following given its ability to deliver exclusive education discounts direct from distributors and vendors. It supports educators in getting more from budgets.”
