Business Development Executives - Birmingham & Manchester
Probrand is a major supplier of top branded computer products - we currently supply anything from a floppy disk to a fully implemented network. Located in the heart of Birmingham and now with an office in Manchester, Probrand is a multi million pound corporation servicing a wide range of business customers throughout the UK. Probrand offers public and private sector business throughout the UK a one-stop shop e-procurement solution for all of their IT requirements.
Due to company expansion a number of excellent opportunities have arisen for target driven sales professionals seeking a role in which they can learn and progress in a dynamic, challenging and supportive environment.
This is a business focused role that involves developing new customer accounts and continued management of them in order to maintain a long term relationship and continued business.
Job purpose - Business Development Executive
To develop relationships with buyers, through prospecting and developing of new opportunities via outbound telesales activity.
The ideal candidate will be target driven sales professional seeking a role in which they can learn and earn in a dynamic, challenging and supportive environment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To make outbound calls to identify and close opportunities for value added service sales
- Maintain relationships and to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- To take responsibility for determining and satisfying the dynamic product needs of your customer accounts, ensuring total customer satisfaction ensuring ongoing business
- To produce revenue in line with current team and individual targets
- Communicate ideas for improvement aimed at enhancing performance and effectiveness of the team and oneself
- To attend daily product training
Skills and Experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thoroughly professional approach
- Good commercial acumen
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate an ongoing interest to learn about and understand IT products
- Confident and target driven with the will to succeed & progress
- Six month’s telephone sales experience - outbound / inbound
- Evidence of consistent target over achievement in a profit/margin and results driven environment
- Confident in building relationships with potential clients and managing their account professionally
